Reporting inappropriate content

If you see content that you feel is inconsistent with Glassdoor’s Terms of Use or Community Guidelines, you may report it to our Content & Community team.

We ask you to include information on why you believe the content violates our Community Guidelines.


When you click the flag icon, a text box will open for you to provide information (limit of 1,500 characters) on why you believe the post violates our Community Guidelines and should be removed from the site.

A member of Glassdoor’s 
Content & Community Team will review the flagged post and reply back to you with a decision within 48 business hours.

  • Click the Flag Icon located below the content.

  • Choose the reason you are reporting the review from the drop down.

  • Click Next.

  • ​Add any additional information you have, which explains why you are reporting the review, in the open text box.

  • Note: The information that you type into this box is only seen by our Community Care team. It is not shared with the member who posted the review or the employer, nor is it posted to the site.

  • Click Submit.

Your flag comments will be reviewed by a senior member of our team. You will receive an email notification of our decision within 48 business hours.
