Monthly Job Slot Subscription Customers (Self-Serve) FAQ

Updated 20 October, 2020

As part of the Glassdoor + Indeed partnership, Indeed will begin offering clients access to job seeker audiences on both Glassdoor and Indeed through Indeed job advertising solutions.

This means that when you post jobs on Indeed, they will also appear on Glassdoor, offering you access to both job seeker audiences through one account relationship.

If you currently post jobs directly on Glassdoor through a monthly job slots subscription, there is no interruption to your service at this time. We will continue to support our jobs product and your hiring needs.

Starting on September 1, 2020, past job slot subscription users will no longer be able to reactivate paid subscriptions to the Glassdoor monthly job slots subscription product. This means that if you unsubscribe from our product after that date, you will be unable to resubscribe in the future. Instead, we ask that you post jobs on Indeed in order to access job seekers across both sites.

In December 2020, we will be turning off the ability to directly post jobs on Glassdoor. Starting January 1, 2021, the only way to post a job on Glassdoor will be to sponsor a job on Indeed.

FAQs

I currently have a monthly jobs slots subscription with Glassdoor.  What happens to the jobs that I am sponsoring?

  • There will be no change to your sponsored jobs - Glassdoor will continue to support our jobs product and your hiring needs.

I currently sponsor jobs on both Indeed and Glassdoor.  What should I do?

  • Since you will be able to access Glassdoor's audience by sponsoring your jobs with Indeed, you no longer need to sponsor your jobs directly with Glassdoor. To cancel your current Glassdoor Job Slot Subscription see our How to cancel your Job Slot Subscription article.

I have credit remaining when I used Glassdoor’s monthly subscription service in the past. What happens to this credit?

  • Any paid for, but unused credits for Glassdoor’s monthly subscription service will be refunded to the credit card we have on file. If that credit card is out of date, we will issue a check.

I currently post jobs on both Glassdoor and Indeed.  Does this mean that starting July 21, 2020, my job postings are duplicated on Glassdoor?

  • Job postings will not be duplicated on Glassdoor: if you are posting jobs directly with Glassdoor after July 21, 2020, these jobs will continue to be shown on Glassdoor and the same jobs sponsored with Indeed will not show up twice on Glassdoor.

Does this change where I track my job campaign performance?

  • For jobs that you have posted directly to Glassdoor, your current job hiring performance will continue to be available through the Glassdoor Employer Center.

  • Future jobs that are posted to Glassdoor via Indeed will be tracked via Indeed only.

  • We will not be transferring Glassdoor job posting history to Indeed. This history can still be accessed in the Glassdoor Employer Center.

Can I continue accessing my existing job descriptions and applicants in the Glassdoor Employer Center, even if I post on Indeed?

  • Yes. You will continue to be able to access your previous job and applicant history with Glassdoor in the Employer Center. Any new applicants from jobs posted on Indeed will be visible only on the Indeed dashboard.

Will I still be able to message candidates from my Glassdoor Employer Center?

  • Yes, you will still be able to message candidates from previous job postings made on Glassdoor via the Glassdoor Employer Center. Any new applicants from jobs posted on Indeed will be visible only on the Indeed dashboard and can be messaged via Indeed.

I am looking to sign up for Glassdoor’s monthly job slots subscription service to post jobs directly to the site. What does this new Glassdoor + Indeed partnership mean for my business relationship with Glassdoor?

  • As part of the Glassdoor + Indeed partnership, Indeed will begin offering clients access to job seeker audiences on both Glassdoor and Indeed through Indeed job advertising products.

  • As of July 21, 2020, we are no longer allowing new customers to sign up for our monthly job slots subscription service to post jobs on Glassdoor.  To post a job on Glassdoor and access this job seeker audience, you will need to sponsor a job with Indeed.

Why am I being redirected to post jobs on Indeed from Glassdoor’s site?

  • As part of the new Glassdoor + Indeed partnership, Indeed will begin offering clients access to job seeker audiences on both Glassdoor and Indeed through Indeed job advertising products.

  • By posting your jobs through Indeed, you’ll be able to quickly and easily access talent and find candidates across both Glassdoor and Indeed.

  • This redirect will go live on July 21, 2020 on all English Glassdoor sites (US, India, Canada, United Kingdom, Singapore, Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, New Zealand). This redirect will send employers to the country specific Indeed Hosted Jobs onboarding funnel.

  • You can learn more about this transition here.

I only want to post my jobs on Indeed or Glassdoor, not both sites.  Can I specify this when I post a job on Indeed in the future?

  • At this time, your sponsored jobs will automatically get posted on both sites, and you will be unable to specify one site or the other.

I posted jobs through Glassdoor’s monthly job slots subscription service in the past. What does this new Glassdoor + Indeed business partnership mean for my business relationship with Glassdoor?

  • If you posted jobs directly with Glassdoor in the past, you will no longer be able to resubscribe starting on September 1, 2020. After this date, you will need to post jobs on Indeed in order to hire across both sites. You will still be able to log in to your Employer Center and see your past job postings and candidate messages.

Do I still need a Glassdoor account?

  • It’s important to maintain your Glassdoor account to monitor your company brand, respond to reviews, and update your company information. Your employer brand on Glassdoor will help future candidates understand more about what it is like to work for your company. If you don’t already have access to your company profile on Glassdoor, sign up for a Free Employer Account to gain access.

Do I sign up with Indeed directly to get jobs on Glassdoor?

  • Yes, your Glassdoor and Indeed accounts are separate, so you will need to sign up for a new Indeed account. Visit Indeed to get started.

When I sign up to post jobs on Indeed, will my job descriptions and applicants from my Glassdoor account be available on Indeed?

  • We will not be transferring over your current or previous Glassdoor job postings to Indeed.  However, you will continue to have access to the Glassdoor Employer Center going forward to see this information.

Will I be able to see my job posting history or communicate with previous candidates via the Indeed platform in the future?

  • You will still be able to message candidates from previous job postings made on Glassdoor via the Glassdoor Employer Center. Any new applicants from jobs posted on Indeed will be visible only on the Indeed dashboard and can be messaged via Indeed.

Who can I contact if I have questions about my Glassdoor job postings?

  • If you are actively posting with Glassdoor’s monthly subscription service and have questions about this product, you can reach Glassdoor’s Support Team. If you have questions about your jobs that you have sponsored on Indeed, you can reach out to Indeed’s Support Team directly.
